日本畅销推理小说家东野圭吾，又将有一部小说作品被搬上大银幕。曾主演《东京爱情故事》和《101次求婚》的江口洋介和《入殓师》男主角本木雅弘，将一同主演东野圭吾小说《天空之蜂》的改编电影，日剧名导堤幸彦担任导演，影片将于2015年在日本上映。 《天空之蜂》是东野圭吾发表于1995年的长篇小说，故事围绕一场与“原爆”有关的恐怖袭击事件展开。恐怖份子远程操控满载炸药的直升飞机飞向位于福井县的核电站。之后更向日本政府寄去恐吓信，声称如果不停止使用正在运作和建设中的核电厂，10小时候后燃料耗尽的直升机将直接坠落。为了救出仍在直升飞机之上的9岁男童，直升机设计师汤原一彰（江口洋介 饰），将与的原子能机器设计师三岛幸一（本木雅弘 饰）联手展开调查…… 这部电影也将成为江口洋介与本木雅弘的首度共演之作，两人的化学反应值得期待。担任导演的堤幸彦，曾经执导过《SPEC》《20世纪少年》《圈套》等经典系列日剧。堤幸彦说：“这部作品追问了社会与人类的理想状态，我希望能全力以赴执导。”东野圭吾则表示：“20年前通过小说所传达出来的讯息，如今会被怎样理解和展现，这样让我非常期待。”
